Another Busy Week in Nursery



 


 

 We have had a lot of busy people outside this week.








On Friday 6th of March, Mitchell took a few of us to play some football.


 

 

We have began making transient art with our Beautiful Stuff this week.

 












 
 

The children have been measuring, in lots of different ways this week and with a variety of materials, such as measuring sticks and cubes. They have been comparing their height using a chart. Who is the tallest? Which block is tall? Which one is taller? Can you find the short one?

 






 

The blocks have been busy again this week with lots of big and detailed structures.

 







 


The children have been retelling familiar fairy tale stories with the puppets.



 
'I don't have enough hands I had to use my feet.'
 
 

 

 

The small world has been busy with the fairy garden resources.

There's no such thing as bad weather - only the wrong clothes. But here at Papdale we are prepared for all weathers! Fun Outdoors

We have been really lucky to have lots of bonnie weather since Nursery closed. You have certainly been making the most of it and have been spending lots of time outside. Just like the indoors photos we can see so much learning going on. It might be 'just playing' to the children but they are learning so much from siblings and parents. Nature A farmers work is never done. How many sheep can you see? Hold on tight Searching for tadpoles Out and about Donating birthday party eggs to the hardworking ambulance workers. It's time to play

We have really enjoyed keeping in touch with our families over the phone and with emails during lock-down. As time has gone on we asked parents if they could ask their children what they have liked or disliked about lock-down. Some of the boys and lasses drew pictures to share their ideas.  A lot of you have said you miss coming to Nursery, and we miss seeing you all too.  Lots of boys, girls, and mums and dads have said they have enjoyed being able to spend more time together. We can see that you are having fun spending time with your families, and are so busy with lots of different activities.
