Compare Bears - can you sort by size or colour? How many?
Water and sand - an opportunity to learn about quantity, volume, how fast water flows
Christmas might be past but you can still decorate trees - with jewellery
Creativity in action

Playdough and scissors - developing fine motor skills
Drumming to let everyone know it's snack time
On our daily mile walks we noticed the colours in the sky as the sun rose. This inspired our artwork as we created our own sunrise pictures.
" Incy Wincy Spider ...."
Songs after lunch
Hall Time
When it's not weather to get outside we might be found in the hall playing games, exercising or doing drama.
This week we were singing 'This is the way we go to school'
We walked...
jumped....
ran...
and slithered our way to school.
Fun outside
On Thursday we went up to the trees and lit our fire-pit. We spoke about safety first before lighting the fire, and were careful to make sure we put it out before leaving. We were singing songs around the fire.
It's not just adults who read stories in Nursery. The children can often be found telling each other stories, and listening to each other.
After lunchtime one of our Moppies re-told the story form one of her own books
Relaxing in the den in our Quiet Area
In Nursery we like to help each other
