Weeks beginning 10th and 17th February. This week has been busy in the block area, with lots of learning taking place. We are learning about size, height, shape, we are balancing the shapes and learning about position. We are being creative, while keeping ourselves and each other safe. The children have been exploring the mud and jumping in the puddles. We are playing with the new scales, learning about weight, capacity, volume and mathematical language - more/less. We were making 'coffee' and smelling the tea bags to have our tea party. Miss Adams bought a coconut this week, the children were problem solving how to open it.
